Dog Training

Dog's are friends, companions and family members for life. Working and training with your dog should be positive and motivational for both you and your dog. This creates a lifelong bond or mutual understanding, respect and friendship. Our training methods and philosophy are founded on this belief.

Training is done with respect, towards both dog and handler. Various training methods are used since no two dog are exactly alike.

We teach you effective methods for you to train your dog. Class size is limited to provide time for significant individual attention and instruction for everyone in class. This also ensures adequate space for everyone to participate without crowding.

We also offer private training for dogs and their owners; working on specific problem areas.

Obedience Classes

Obedience classes held on Wednesdays unless otherwise noted.

Puppy Manners: Start puppies out right before bad habits begin. For puppies 10 weeks to 5 months old and focuses on Nutrition, Grooming, Medical Information, Obedience, Agility and Socialization. Class meets 1 hour a week for 4 weeks. $50 (minimum of 3 puppies to hold a class - meets Tuesday or Wednesday evenings)

Beginner Obedience: For untrained dog over 5 months old. You will learn how to teach your dog the basics - walking on loose leash, sit, down, stand, stay and come. Class meets 1 hour a week for 8 weeks. $90 (meets Tuesdays 7PM and Wednesday 6:15PM)

Intermediate/Novice: This class goes above and beyond the beginner class; focusing on off-leash control at home and in public. Class meets 1 hour a week on an ongoing basis. Block of 10 lessons $70.

Advanced Novice, Open and Utility: For those who want to continue on and compete in obedience trials. Class meets 1 hour a week on an ongoing basis. Block of 10 lessons $70.

Rally 'O Obedience

The concept of obedience using directional signs to guide you and your K9 friend through a course. Classes offered occasionally - call for more information.

Agility Classes

Agility classes meet on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Puppy Agility: For puppies less than 1 year old. Puppies learn basic agility obstacles. This is a great confidence builder for puppies. Requires prior obedience training - at least Puppy Manners class. Class meets 1 hour a week for 4 weeks. $50

Beginner Agility: For dogs over 1 year old. Introduction to all agility sequences. Requires completion of prior obedience class. Class meets 1 hour a week for 6 weeks. $75

Intermediate Agility: For dogs that have finished the beginner class. Sequences and handling techniques will be covered. Class meets 1 hour a week for 8 weeks. $80

Novice Agility: Preparing for trials or just having more fun! Classes meet 1 hour a week on an ongoing basis. Block of 10 lessons $70.
